At What Point in Time did Parents Stop Feeding their Children?

Posted by Jenny Lea on June 23, 2015 at 7:00 PM Comments comments (0)

Schools act as if they are the only source of food for children. How some kids need to bring a bag of food home for dinner or the weekend, or they may starve. Charities collect food to keep children from starving over the summer. My question is, are the parents starving too, or are they choosing not to feed their own children? Last time I checked starving one’s own child is considered child abuse, and before anyone whines about all the starving people in America, where is...

NYC Welcomes New Immigrants

Posted by Jenny Lea on June 12, 2015 at 3:30 AM Comments comments (0)

New York City is the place to go for immigrants. Bill DeBlasio, the New York City Mayor, is working hard at bringing in new Democrat voters. Apparently, over 37% of New York City’s eight million residents consist of immigrants, as per DeBlasio, and he wants to help them become eligible voters. Whether they entered the U.S. legally or illegally was not mentioned in DeBlasio’s letter of agreement with the City of New York and the U.S. Immigration Service he signed Jun...

America is becoming a bunch of Cop Haters

Posted by Jenny Lea on November 29, 2014 at 11:50 PM Comments comments (0)

For some reason society is quickly becoming a bunch of cop haters, more specifically local police haters. More and more people are posting graphics showing how police should be walking around with blue shirts, a nifty hat and a revolver, instead of a bullet proof vest, face guard and a semi-automatic rifle. It would be nice if they were not being shot at, spit on and having urine thrown at them. As the criminals become more violent police are forced to become more defensive. As...

Thank You Holiday Employees

Posted by Jenny Lea on November 28, 2014 at 9:20 PM Comments comments (0)

I would like to thank all those who had to work on Thanksgiving.

I would especially like to thank those who for years have had to work during the Holidays. Employees who have been forgotten and never had anyone petition or complain about their employers being open during the holidays.

Many police officers do not have the luxury of enjoying a Happy Thanksgiving at home with thei...

Austin Shooting on Black Friday Morning

Posted by Jenny Lea on November 28, 2014 at 6:35 PM Comments comments (0)

Apparently the individual, Larry McQuilliams, who tried to shoot up the Mexican consulate in Austin, Texas, was anti-government and anti-immigration. Liberal news and blogs are already pushing that a crazy, gun toting, racist conservative went on a violent shooting spree in a highly populated area of Austin. Well, hate to burst one’s bubble but conservatives are not anti-government, they are anti-Big Government, there is a difference. However, many conservatives are anti-...

Happy Veterans Day, and shame on those who are using today for political finger pointing.

Posted by Jenny Lea on November 11, 2014 at 11:30 AM Comments comments (0)

It is sad that people are using Veteran’s Day to push politics. I have barely seen any Happy Veteran’s Day posts on my feed. I have however, seen people pointing the finger at political parties/politicians and any role they have played toward Veterans. Today is not what has Politics done or not done for Veterans Day. Today is not why or why not someone should like or dislike different political parties. If you are spending more time pointing fingers at a political p...

Don't waste Money on the Plans you do not Use

Posted by Jenny Lea on November 10, 2014 at 10:45 AM Comments comments (0)

The HBO series “Boardwalk Empire” has come to an end, and so has our subscription to HBO, Starz and Encore. It was the only series we watched on the movie channels. When we watch TV with no plans to watch a specific show we start from about Channel 4 and work our way up the grid. In most cases we stop at TNT, USA or AMC and never manage to see what is on any of the movie channels. By reducing our subscription we will save approximately $40 per month, making it a who...

White-ish is Racist, but Black-ish is Not

Posted by Jenny Lea on November 6, 2014 at 10:40 AM Comments comments (0)

Brad Paisley is now being called a racist. Apparently, the CMA awards took over the regularly scheduled programing on ABC Wednesday, November 15th. One of those programs happened to be “Black-ish”. As a joke Brad Paisley said, “If you were looking for Black-ish tonight, yeah, this ain’t it. In the meantime, I hope you enjoy White-ish.”

First of all if a show was called White-ish it would be considered a racist title....

Watch Out! You might be a Racist!

Posted by Jenny Lea on October 12, 2014 at 2:15 PM Comments comments (0)

I hate to break it to people, but walking around with a race card in your back pocket does not mean you are not a racist. All it means, is you like to pull out the race card at your own convenience.

I have met a plethora of hypocrites of all colors, all over the internet who think they are holier than thou with their race cards. Some of them are more than willing to pull that sucker out every time someone dislikes President Obam...

Peterson is in a Political Battle

Posted by Jenny Lea on September 16, 2014 at 1:10 AM Comments comments (0)

I finally looked up the whole Adrian Peterson “child abuse” media craze. As far as I can tell he basically spanked his child. Rather than using his hand, a belt or a paddle, he utilized a switch. Something many adults who have no feelings of childhood abuse remember. He did not break the skin, he simply spanked his child. I know some parents choose not to spank their children. However, the preferences of one should not be forced on the many. At the end of the day th...

OMG! School Lunches Suck!!!

Posted by Jenny Lea on September 10, 2014 at 10:15 PM Comments comments (0)

At what point in time did the school lunches not suck? Everyone makes it sound as if school lunches use to be prepared by gourmet chefs. Out of all the options I had to choose from during my time in school, the only lunches I ever remember eating at school were pizza and enchiladas. That was pretty much it. The burgers tasted like plastic, and the only dessert worth eating was the mixed fruit.

Since Michele Obama, a Democrat First Lady, ...

Americans detained in North Korea

Posted by Jenny Lea on September 2, 2014 at 2:00 AM Comments comments (0)

Now there are three Americans being detained in North Korea. OK People!! As far as I can tell they are all missionaries. I understand some of you all are devout who knows whats it in whatever faith, but if you are willing to risk your life by going to a country that outlaws Christianity or any other faith to proselytize, then don’t complain when you get caught. Just because the U.S. sucks at imprisoning criminals does not mean all other countries suck too. That is why so...

Are you a good cook?

Posted by Jenny Lea on August 24, 2014 at 1:25 AM Comments comments (0)

Determining whether or not one is a good cook is not an easy task and one that should never be forced. It takes patients and good observation.

I ask my husband if the food is good, if it is worth cooking again or needs adjustments. Mainly because he eats my cooking every week and in most cases ends up being the main guinea pig for any new recipes I put together or try out. I do not get upset if he happens to tell me it needs less garlic,...

--Murder a child under the age of 18 and spend a minimum of 30 years in prison?

Wendy Davis now calls her Abortion Filibuster a Health Care Filibuster

Posted by Jenny Lea on March 29, 2014 at 3:25 PM Comments comments (0)

Last year Wendy Davis filibustered an anti-abortion bill in Texas. Her efforts were not successful, and the bill was approved. The bill was not to make abortions illegal, but to make them safer. At least safer for the woman having the abortion. It was to prevent women from waiting until they were over 5 months pregnant to have an abortion. It was to ensure that the physician performing the abortion is licensed within the State of Texas and has

Greg Abbott vs. Wendy Davis

Posted by Jenny Lea on March 25, 2014 at 11:05 PM Comments comments (0)

I receive emails from both Greg Abbott and Wendy Davis’s campaign. Both are campaigning for the Governor of Texas.

Thus far Greg Abbott’s campaign has requested my opinion on different issues from how I feel about the 2nd Amendment, unemployment, welfare, etc., brought up his plans as Texas Governor, issues he plans to push for and one email concerning Planned Parenthood promoting...

San Diego DNC received illegal Contributions

Posted by Jenny Lea on March 21, 2014 at 12:30 AM Comments comments (0)

California’s San Diego County Democratic Party received illegal funds from 2012 to 2013. From a former San Diego police detective, Ernesto Encinas. At least two politicians, (D) Bob Filner (Ex-San Diego Mayor) and (D) Nathan Fletcher, received the illegal donations and both deny knowing anything about it. I first found out about it from the FBI website. Of course no names or political parties were mentioned. So, I had to do a bit of searching to fin...

5 Stores Hacked and the Media Keeps Quiet

Posted by Jenny Lea on January 14, 2014 at 4:20 PM Comments comments (0)

It would be nice if reporters actually put some effort into finding out the information. At least four other stores, besides Target, were hacked. One is Neiman Marcus and the other three have "not been disclosed". When did the media start to get paid to twiddle their thumbs and wait for information to be disclosed? Send a reporter out to find the story. I believe that is why some of them get paid the big bucks. People complain about politicians getting paid too much for their j...

Phil Robertson vs. the Gay Community

Posted by Jenny Lea on December 24, 2013 at 12:40 AM Comments comments (0)

I have been having a good number of debates about Phil Robertson and his anti-gay statements lately. Some of the debates have dealt with the Freedom of Speech, Christianity and anti-Gay issues.

When it comes to the Freedom  of Speech, A&E is a privately owned company. They have the right to pick and choose who they wish to promote. I like that they have the Freedom to make that choice. I would not want the government to step in...

FEE-FI-FO-FUM I Feel the Dread of a Government Furlough Coming

Posted by Jenny Lea on September 29, 2013 at 2:10 PM Comments comments (0)

When it comes to a possible Government furlough I hear Obama and his Administration giving out one guilt trip after another to the Hard Working Tax Payers. However, I don’t hear those same guilt trips being given out about the employees in the private sector, when they are threatened with a lay off. Even when all the Tax Payer funded clean energy companies were collapsing. They do not seem to feel bad when they issue out more and more taxes and fees, possibly causing them...
